    Join Help of Beaufort for our annual FIRECRACKER 5K Race on the morning of July 4th in Downtown Beaufort. Starting at 8am on Friday, July 4, 2025, on Bay & Newcastle Streets. Run through historic downtown Beaufort and across the famous Woods bridge following a certified 5K course.

    The 5K course is flat and quick, and offers a pleasant trip through the scenic neighborhoods of Cat Island, Beaufort. Marshals will guide you to the registration and parking areas near the tennis courts. Its about 2.8 miles from the turn off of Ladys Island Drive to the event site. Keep going until you see our marshals and event signs! Click below on the course map icon for a printable version of the map itself.

    Race4Love is a rain or shine event, in the case that severe weather necessitates that Hopeful Horizons cancel the event, your registration fee will be converted to a tax-deductible donation to Hopeful Horizons.
