Prepare to be engulfed by the gravitational pull of the 2024 Delirium Ultra, marking our triumphant return for the 12th year and third year on our new course on Lady's Island. Originating in 2011, the Delirium Ultra has traversed various locales, including Bluffton, Ridgeland, Habersham, before settling in its permanent home in Beaufort, SC. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Mitchell Family for graciously hosting us on their picturesque farm. As you navigate the 1.65-mile loop adorned in your most captivating black hole-themed Halloween costume, immerse yourself in the cosmic allure of the event.
The Delirium Ultra presents three challenges: 6, 12, and 24-hour races, where the ultimate victors are those who log the greatest number of miles. Join us for the Lt Dank Sophisticated Beer (BYOB) at 7:30pm Friday evening, and embark on this cosmic odyssey.
Location: The 2024 Delirium Ultra will unfold on Lady’s Island, SC, a hidden gem veiled in mystery. Navigate to 206 Springfield Rd and follow the Delirium signs to the designated parking area, then let the cosmic journey begin.
When: Races commence promptly at 8:00am on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The 6-hour race concludes at 2:00pm, the 12-hour at 8:00pm, and the 24-hour epic adventure culminates at 8:00am on Sunday morning. Racers must check-in by 7:00am Saturday, with pre-race announcements at 7:45am.
Aid Station: Sustain your cosmic voyage with an array of celestial provisions at our single aid station, offering hydration, nutrition, and sustenance throughout the event. You will not go hungry! Our single aid station will offer the following items: water, Tailwind, dark and light soft drinks, oranges, bananas, typical sweet & salty ultra-snacks, Spring Nutrition, chicken noodle soup, burgers and pizza and other hot foods throughout the night. If you have any special requirements from a nutrition standpoint, we ask that you bring those items with you.

10:00pm Chicken Noodle Soup – throughout the evening.
Night Running: As darkness descends, illuminate your path with a headlamp or handheld light, essential for runners in the 12 and 24-hour races.
Race Staging and Camping: Explore our cosmic campground, set alongside the course for easy access. Staging areas are available for runners to recharge and prepare for the next lap. The parking area is not adjacent to the camping area so please plan accordingly!
Awards: Conquer the cosmic challenge to earn our coveted finisher's medal and Delirium Ultra belt buckle for those achieving 100 miles or more in the 24-hour race. Top performers in each category will be rewarded with epic trophies and Hoka shoes, courtesy of Grounded Running.
Bib – Chip Timing: Ensure your journey is documented with chip timing technology. Bibs must be visible throughout the event to track your cosmic progress accurately. LIVE results will be available upon coorporation with the stars and the sky. If not, enjoy your journey and share your triumph with your friends and family when you complete your journey.
Packet Pick Up: Prepare for your journey at packet pick up on Friday, October 18, 2024, or on race day between 6:00-7:00am for a prompt start at 8:00am.
