Ten years ago, Grounded Running began as a small idea fueled by passion, community, and a love for the sport that brings us all together. From our humble beginnings as a race management and timing company, we’ve grown into something much greater — a full-service running hub with a brick-and-mortar store in the heart of Beaufort, South Carolina, and an ever-expanding online community at groundedrunning.com
Today, Grounded Running proudly manages and times over 42 races each year, including the nationally recognized Delirium Ultra 6, 12, and 24-Hour Endurance Races. Through it all, our mission has stayed the same — to serve runners and walkers of every pace, passion, and path, and to keep our community moving forward, together.
Thanks to the unwavering support of the Beaufort community, and friends near and far, Grounded Running has been honored as the Best Shoe Store in South Carolina two years in a row, and named one of the Top Running Stores in America.
Now it’s time to celebrate this incredible journey — and we want you there!
Join us for our 10th Birthday Bash at Shellring Ale Works on November 6th at 6:00 PM. We’ll have all of our shoe vendors on site, tons of giveaways, and even exclusive demo shoes not yet released to the public!
This is a free event open to all walkers and runners of all abilities. Stick around after the group run for great food, cold pints, and live music as we toast to a decade of running, friendship, and staying grounded. As the days get shorter, don’t forget to bring your headlamp or running light for the evening miles.
