Beaufort Track Club: May 3-Mile Time Trail
On Wednesday May 31, 2017, the Beaufort Track Club hosted its first 3-mile Time Trail at the Beaufort Middle School Track. This event, like all other group runs are open and free to all local runners and walkers of all levels from beginners, intermediate and advanced. “The benefits that come from speed work is visible for all athletes regardless of current fitness level.” Tim Waz, Owner of Grounded Running. “After a few weeks of adding short distance, speed work the body quickly begin to respond as you develop the fast-twitch muscle strength. I like to encourage time trials to use as a bench mark of how well your training is going.”
