Daufuskie Island is steeped in deep history dating back thousands of years.  Yemasee Indians inhabited the island at the time that Spanish Conquistadors explored Daufuskie.  The French, English and Gullah people have also played a significant role in adding their rich cultural identity to this beautiful, unique island off the coast of southern South Carolina. Dan Hernandez and the Rough Runners Team have come up with an amazing course to showcase most of the Island.
