Join the Beaufort Track Club at 6:30pm, Wednesday December 21, 2016 for a group run. The Beaufort Track Club is the area’s oldest and longest existing running club and all group runs are always free! Each week we break up into three groups, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced to ensure that everyone is running or walking at a comfortable level, while we help you achieve your running goals.
This week we will have Sara Maltby joining us. Sara is a fantastic Runner, Coach and Brand Ambassador for Newton Running. You will have an opportunity to try out and run in the latest Newton Running models and experience the shoes first hand. Thank you Sara for coming out and being a part of the Beaufort running community!
The Beaufort Track Club is also kicking off our Couch to 5K program this week and encourage everyone with running goals in 2017 to join us. For more information on our Couch to 5k program please check out our Training page of our website. We look forward to seeing everyone this evening on the track. Dress warm, and we will be there rain or shine!

Warm-up: Walk for 5 min
Workout: Straights and curves: Run the straights and walk the curves x 2 laps
Bonus: 3 – 4 laps
Cool Down: Walk for 5 min
Workout: (5k Pace) 400, 90-120 second rest x 6
Bonus: 400, 90-120 second rest x 2
Cool Down: 800 walk curves, jog straights
Workout: (5K Pace) 400, 60 second rest, x 12
Cool Down: 800
